Best cheap home phone and internet bundle
Xfinity is the cheapest provider to bundle services with. For $59/mo., you can get unlimited home phone and up to 100 Mbps in internet speed. That’s a savings of nearly half – $54/mo. It’s perfect for one or two people who like to check emails and browse the internet.
Verizon will run you about $5 more a month but offers much more speed, 300 Mbps. If you like to stream movies or game, you might want to pay the extra money for such increased speed.
Is it cheaper to bundle internet & phone?
Whether you can save money bundling a home phone and an internet plan depends on the provider. You can save from $5 to $55 a month or nothing at all; you’ll just have the convenience of one provider for two services with one bill.

Verizon: 300 Mbps and home phone for $64.99/mo. For only $5/mo. more, Verizon Fios has triple the speed of Xfinity. You also get to add one international country for free to your plan (the amount you get ranges from 30 minutes per month to unlimited). You can also add 300 minutes of international calls for an extra $14.99/mo., or 500 minutes for $19.99.
Xfinity: 100 Mbps and home phone for $59.99/mo. Xfinity’s bundle includes unlimited calling to nearly half the world — one of the best international home phone plans you’ll find. You also have the option to add another 300 minutes to more countries for an extra $9.95/mo.
CenturyLink: Up to 200 Mbps and home phone for $90.00/mo. CenturyLink also offers a range of international calling options, but they’re all on the expensive side. You’ll also have to pay $15/mo. for internet equipment on most plans.

Starting at around $60/mo., Xfinity is a good choice for an internet and home phone with an attractive price point. The home phone service really shines, with one of the best international calling plans in the business. You can even add 300 minutes a month for under $10. Xfinity’s bundle pricing can save you up to $40 or more monthly, depending on your service choices.

Things to consider
Early termination fees – Not all of Xfinity’s plans require a contract, but if they do, you may be charged if you want to end your service before the contract time is up.

Frontier Internet & Phone: Best for no data caps
Frontier uses both DSL and fiber optic connections in the U.S., so depending on where you live, you may be able to get speeds up to 2,000 Mbps — some of the fastest in the country. If Frontier’s fiber optic plans aren’t available in your area, you might want to look into other providers before opting for a slower DSL connection. You can save 10 to 20% off your bill by bundling with Frontier.

AT&T Internet & Phone: Best for DSL options
Like Frontier, AT&T’s internet plans are split into two types: fiber optic and DSL. Its fiber optic plans offer some of the best value of any provider — starting at 300 Mbps of internet speed for just $55.00/mo. Unfortunately, you can only add home phone service to AT&T’s DSL plans. Plans start at $79.99/mo. with speeds up to 100 Mbps in some areas. You can save $5 to $10 a month with an AT&T internet and phone bundle. You can save more if you also bundle your DIRECTV service with AT&T as well.

Cox Internet & Phone: Best for plan customization
Cox doesn’t offer home phone service unless it’s part of a bundle with internet and TV as well. That means you’ll have a high monthly bill — Cox’s internet, phone and TV bundles start at $157.99/mo. You’re not getting much value for that price, either, with internet speeds at just 50 Mbps. Depending on which plan you pick, you can save from $20 to $40 a month when you bundle.
